Small moves and single-room consignments travel as LCL groupage, priced per cubic metre. Full households take a dedicated 20ft or 40ft container, which also lets you ship a vehicle in the same box where the destination allows it. Urgent essentials can go by air while the bulk of the shipment follows by sea.

Planning your move
Start with a volume estimate — we can do this over a video call or from a room-by-room list. That fixes the equipment size and the price. From there we agree a packing date, a loading date and a sailing, and you receive a written schedule showing every milestone through to delivery at destination.

Customs and used personal effects
Most countries grant relief from import duty on used household goods belonging to someone taking up residence, subject to conditions on ownership period and residency status. We prepare the valued inventory, passport copies and declarations that customs will want to see, and flag any items — alcohol, firearms, plants, certain electricals — that need separate treatment.
