ShipCars UK is a Thames-side shipping agent and international freight forwarder based at East Tilbury, minutes from Tilbury Docks and London Gateway. We ship cars, commercial vehicles, containers and air cargo from the United Kingdom to 198 countries, on weekly scheduled departures rather than "when the box is full".

Vehicles we ship from the UK

Saloons, estates, hatchbacks, 4x4s and SUVs, prestige and classic cars, vans and pickups, motorhomes and caravans, motorbikes and quads, minibuses and coaches, tractor units and tippers, tractors, combines, excavators, forklifts and boats on trailers. Runners go by roll-on roll-off; non-runners, high-value cars and vehicles shipped with personal effects travel inside a sealed 20ft or 40ft container.

Sea freight and container shipping

Full container loads in 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube equipment, shared LCL groupage from a single pallet upwards, flat racks and open tops for out-of-gauge machinery, and breakbulk for project cargo. Every box is packed, braced and photographed at our own facility before the seal number goes onto the bill of lading.

Air freight from UK airports

Held allocation out of Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester and East Midlands for general cargo, spare parts, urgent commercial consignments, excess baggage, personal effects, pharmaceuticals and IATA dangerous goods. Chargeable weight is verified before we book, so the invoice matches the quotation.
